TREKKING ON HORSEBACK 


Local Trekking: We have a great choice of treks in our local area taking us to some of the prettiest spots, such as San Giorgio, Monte,  Santuario delle Salette in Fumane and the Molina waterfalls.  At 800m above sea level we have a cool breeze with us most of the time which is refreshing and helps us enjoy our journey.

If we go higher into the mountains 1000/1500m, just before the historic borders with Trentino Alto Adige. We ride through the Lessini mountain plateau. We will explain the history of the land and the unusual rock formations.

Mountain Overnight Trek: We offer our guests a two-day trek to the Leswe and Sinia mountains, overnighting in simple stone refuges once used by the mountain shepherds, now transformed into rural retreats. Here, guests can taste typical local delicacies, cooked on the hearth of the old hut by our host whilst guests watch and enjoy a glass of wine before dinner. The large dining table brings everyone together for dinner and with it an evening of traditional stories and getting to know other travellers. (Summer only)

Bivouac Experience: Another unique experience is our “rider’s bivouac “a two-day trek into the magnificent glades and forests of Valpolicella. Our overnight stay is organised in an outdoor camp sleeping in tents, in the centre of the natural countryside. The dinner will be cooked over a fire, like old times, and the evening will be full of songs and guitar music which take us well into the night. This experience will take you back to the days of when horse and rider bonded working together to herd the animals from one pasture to another. (Summer only)
